Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees

A SIMPLE IRA plan is an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)-based plan giving small employers (usually with less than 100 employees) who want to provide an alternative to a qualified profit sharing plan, a simplified method to make contributions toward their employees and their own retirement. Under a SIMPLE IRA plan, all contributions are made directly to an IRA that has been set up for each employee. Employees may choose to make salary reduction contributions and the employer makes matching or non-elective contributions.
