Protecting your privacy is important to AmFirst Bank, N.A. and our employees.  Your personal information is kept in the strictest confidence and we are committed to maintaining the security and integrity of the personal information you share with us.  We want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it, so we have developed the following policy concerning the privacy of your personal information for consumers and consumers who become AmFirst Bank customers.  Please read the following information carefully.


  • AmFirst Bank, N.A. collects, retains, and uses information about individual customers only where we reasonably believe it would be useful (and as permitted by law) to administer our business and to provide you products, services, and other opportunities that may be of interest to you.
  • Nonpublic personal information is information about you and identified with you that AmFirst Bank, N.A. obtains in connection with providing you a financial product or service. This is information that is unobtainable from a public source. We may collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

    • Information we receive from you (e.g. from applications or other documents you provide us);
    • Information about your transactions with us or our affiliates (such as deposits, withdrawals or payments);
    • Information we receive from third parties (e.g. direct deposits); and
    • Information from a consumer reporting agency.
  • AmFirst Bank, N.A. maintains procedures to limit access to personally identifiable information to those employees with a business reason to know such information about you. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures, special training programs, and our policies on ethics.
  • AmFirst Bank, N.A. maintains appropriate security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to customer information. This is accomplished through the use of Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), multi-level date sensitive security passwords, shredding of documents containing confidential customer information before disposing, and physical security systems. Monitoring is done by branch and security officers through audit reports, transaction histories, and visual observations.
  • AmFirst Bank, N.A. does not disclose specific information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our bank and affiliated companies for their independent use unless; 1) the information is provided to help complete a customer initiated transaction (e.g. financial services processors for checks, wires, ATM activity, or electronic transactions); 2) the customer requests it; 3) the disclosure of the information is otherwise lawfully permitted or required (e.g. subpoenas, investigation of fraudulent activity, etc.); or 4) in order to verify the existence and condition or your account for a third party, such as a credit reporting agency or merchant.
  • AmFirst Bank, N.A. does not sell (and does not intend to sell) your individual customer information or customer lists.
  • AmFirst Bank, N.A. has an affiliation with AmFirst Insurance Services. We are permitted by law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to our affiliate, as for example, your name, address, and the type of account(s). We insist that they adhere to similar privacy principles that provide for keeping personally identifiable customer information confidential. We share information only for legitimate business purposes, with the goal of bringing you greater convenience, more choices and to be able to serve you more efficiently and effectively.
  • If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described within this notice.
